2021.10.22 12:36 SadPotatoeboy144 I’m not sure why but I took the time to go on YouTube, scroll through, and like every single community post made by RecRoom. That is 201 post and 201 like icons tapped
My question is does this effort mean anything or any recognition. Or was this a waste of time. Also should I do this for every video uploaded by RR too?

2021.10.22 12:36 Treantpaladin7 Is prayer ever a waste of time or energy? What if you have prayed not like Paul’s thorn in the flesh 3 times but thousands and thousands of times? Over decades for healing or resolve on something that has basically destroyed your entire life to the point of losing all hope?
2021.10.22 12:36 JayToThePop The fact that I can’t afford to get sick is a common phrase is really scary
That is all. Was behind someone in line who was buying DayQuil and the cashier said “sick?” And the woman said, “thank god no, buying it for a friend, I can’t afford to get sick.”

2021.10.22 12:36 flying_ina_metaltube How do I take full advantage of an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) card?
I've always applied for a single entry visa (on arrival, e-visa from the US) a few days before I was to come to India for a long time.
Then, in 2019, I applied for a multi-entry visa. Got approved for a few days, and got 10 years of unlimited entries (I think max 180 day per visit).
We all know what happened in early 2020, and the Indian government cancelled all issued tourist visas. Sad, I only got to use my brand new multi-entry visa once. Now the government has announced they'll start issuing tourist visas again, starting Nov. 15th and the first 500,000 applicants will have their fees waived (to boost tourism), but they've cancelled all previously issued visas.
Earlier this year my family and I applied for OCI cards, seeing that it would be some time before India opens again and reading up on the "benefits" of having it, we thought might as well.
Now, we have it, but haven't used it yet (planning a trip soon though). I'm trying to get a clearer idea of what exactly are the benefits of an OCI card. I've done some research, but with a myriad of paperwork that's needed to do even simple tasks in India has me confused. Some of the benefits of that card that I'm familiar with are -
2021.10.22 12:36 hazelwitchrose Anybody else wish that vocal solo at the end of Living Legend wasn’t edited?
At first I thought it was guitar, but then it sounds like her voice, just heavily filtered. I wish we could hear her pure vocals, it sounds so powerful and emotional, and Dealer has left me feeling some type of way about the louder kind of Lana. Baby got lungs.

2021.10.22 12:36 CdnKronos Sinope baseboard thermostat
I’ve reached out to Sinope tech support - but I’m still not clear from them.
If I connect them to my SmartThings hub - can I access Neviweb?
I don’t want to use their GT130 hub (unless the hub integrates to SmartThings).
Neviweb seems offer scheduling and energy monitoring which are the two key requires I’m looking for. It seems unclear if I can do scheduling in SmartThings (which is the one thing I really want).
I could go WiFi (which connects via Neviweb to SmartThings) but I’d much prefer zigbee.
Or - if you have other ideas for line voltage thermostats (preferably a brand that also does 24v as well). Scheduling is the key feature I need.

2021.10.22 12:36 Witchstone Scene mechanics for multiple objectives and participants?
I have an idea for a scene in mind that I would like to have FAE game mechanics for. I'm struggling with it, though.
My characters are first year students in Hogwards. They watch a classmate walk into the forbidden forest in a sort of trance. They know that dangerous creatures live in the forest and that students are forbidden to enter it. It is dark and foggy. Moreover, Hagrid is walking in the forest, something they don't know at the beginning.
So their goals are:

2021.10.22 12:36 BigGwyn Advice for a returning RC Veteran
Many years ago (about 30) I used to enjoy competing locally in some 1/10th scale 4wd buggy racing. These were the days of 6-cell, 7.2V Lithium Ion batteries and I'd never seen an electronic speed controller. I used to run a Kyosho Optima Pro and built it myself from the kit.
Now I'm at an age where I can afford to maybe get back into RC just for fun rather than competition (I don't think my hand-eye coordination could handle it anymore) and I am looking for some advice on equipment.
I'm probably looking to stick with what I know, so 1/10th scale electric, 4wd buggy, kit rather than RTR, but I could be convinced to ditch any of those if you think it is worth going down another route.
I'm happy to buy component parts, radio gear, kit, ESC, motors, cells and chargers, separately but just want some guidance on what is a good combination.
I'm looking for a decent run time off a charge, speed and manoeuvrability and something that can take a bit of punishment as I am not as quick as I used to be. Also happy to look at upgrade parts to make something a bit more durable. Oh, and I am in the UK if that makes a difference?
I'd appreciate your wisdom!
